Advanced Crafting Probability Simulator

Endgame crafting relies heavily on statistical advantages. When combining two high-value items, guessing the outcome is a fast way to lose currency. This tool utilizes combinatorial mathematics to determine your exact chances of success.

"Based on the hypergeometric distribution models mapped by the CraftofExile community team. Verified accurate as of Patch 0.4."

Affix Pooling Mechanics

The mutation algorithm pools the mods from both input items independently. It then selects a base type (always a 50/50 flip) and rolls for the final affix count based on the combined pool size.

  • If you input two items with 3 prefixes each, the pool has 6 prefixes to choose from.
  • Tag your desired mods in the interface. The engine will calculate the exact percentage chance that all targeted mods survive the smash.
  • Warning: If you are trying to transfer an Exalted explicit onto a specific base, your theoretical maximum success rate is instantly halved due to the 50% base selection roll.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate are these percentages?
The percentages are mathematically exact based on a purely random hypergeometric selection from the combined affix pools. However, hidden GGG weighting modifiers for specific mod tiers are still being datamined.
Does item level affect the recombinator?
The resulting item level is an averaged formula of the two inputs. If the final ilvl drops below the requirement for one of your targeted mods, that mod will be purged from the pool.
Can I force a specific base?
No. The base selection is hardcoded as a 50/50 random choice between Item A and Item B. You cannot manipulate this weighting.
