Optimizing Your Appalachia Loadout
Unlike earlier titles, Fallout 76 utilizes a modular Perk Card system. Your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points directly dictate the maximum rank of cards you can equip in each category. Planning your build beforehand prevents wasting levels acquiring the wrong cards.

Build Constraints & Rules
- Base Pool: 56 Total Points (7 starting + 49 earned by level 50).
- Attribute Cap: Maximum 15 points per S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat.
- Card Swapping: You can swap Perk Cards in and out of your loadout for free at any time, as long as you have the attribute capacity to hold them.
